Building on a strong desire to help be part of the solution to environmental problems, Tracey, the founder of Biome, remembers fondly the day she went live online, creating one of Australia’s first eco stores. Since then, the business has expanded to include six brick-and-mortar stores along with their international online store.

Biome stock safe, natural, ethical, organic, palm oil-free, vegan, and waste-free products. Plus, they have a range of recycled products. Providing low or zero-waste alternatives, they help customers save over 10 million single-use plastic items from landfills every year.

As well as being a low waste company Biome are also at the forefront of avoiding anything harmful to you or the planet. They are proud to have been the first store in Australia to require truth in labeling, BPA, PVC, and phthalate-free, synthetic fragrance, and preservative-free. Plus, they were the world’s first 100% palm oil-free retail store, certified by the POI (Plam Oil Investigations) as an approved retailer.

They have a fantastic range of products from beauty products, waste-free or reusables for the home, slow fashion, products for babies and kids, and gifts for everyone. Why not take a look.

We are on a journey too – for us it’s about progress not perfection. Keep pushing, keep evolving, keep believing!
