Vivaia use the recycled PET (rPET) thread to create their knitted shoe uppers. Each pair of shoes diverts more than 6 plastic bottles from landfill. They also use recycled faux fur. This is a mix of recycled mink faux fur and recycled terry faux fur from post-consumer sources.
In addition to the recycled materials Vivaia use hemp fiber, natural rubber, rice husks and herbal insoles in their products.
