Share with your friends on:

GET READY TO START!

Are you ready to take control of your curbside recycling by simplifying your local rules and exploring useful resources!

Why Take The Challenge…

I’ve heard people say “recycling is one of the simplest actions you can take that will have an immediate and positive outcome”.

The thing is I’m not sure the person who wrote that quote had looked over their curbside recycling rules recently.

Sure the basic premise of recycling is simple but it can feel a little overwhelming when there are so many different rules to figure out. Not only that but they vary from one location to the next so you can’t even use the “ask a friend” card.

But what if there was a way to make sense of the rules in your local area. Making it easier for you to recycle right and create a positive outcome not only for the planet but for you too.

Are you are ready to start having a positive impact on the planet and create a cleaner and safe world not only today but for future generations.

DURING THIS CHALLENGE YOU WILL.

  • Discover why recycling is important and how to rethink the role that curbside recycling plays in saving our planet from waste.
  • Learn the tools that will help you to know what to throw in and what to keep out of your recycling bin no matter where you live!
  • Uncover the tricks and tips to help remove the frustration and leave you with the knowledge that you can make a difference!

Below is the 10-lesson Conquer Curbside Recycling Challenge. You can take as long as you want to complete it. You might do it over 10 days, or if you are really keen, you can knock it off in one day.

In each lesson, you will be assigned tasks to complete; in some situations, this may be an action, while in others, it will just be extra reading. Some of these activities come with a downloadable cheat sheet or checklist to help you complete the task and have a record for future reference. These tasks take just 15-30 minutes to complete!

If any of the challenges don’t work for you, or if you already know the topic well, you can either skip them or, if you have time, do a bit more reading on the subject.

What if you don’t have a curbside bin? If you live in an apartment or a location that does not offer curbside recycling, you can focus the challenge on your local transfer station or recycling center. You can learn many things, and all the actions will still be relevant.

Let’s conquer curbside recycling together!
